VSTS Team Foundation Server - a bad news and a good news

Well, the bad news is that the current plan for the user administration in VSTS Team Foundation server is to have three separate places where each user has to be administered: TFS, SQL Server and the Sharepoint Server. Anyone that has done some administration that way knows that it is error prone, not elegant and simply difficult. Such a plan was made because of lack of resources and in order to finish the product on time.

The good news is that there is a chance that Microsoft finds some additional resources in the Developer Aftermarket Solutions team. What they need from us is the clear message that such functionality is really (I mean really, really) needed. So please leave a comment on the following post: http://blogs.msdn.com/ddcpxblg/archive/2005/11/08/Joe_Morel.aspx and tell Microsoft that we need it.
