Scott Hanselman's guide on reinstalling the machine

Scott Hanselman documented his experience with repaving his computer and has compiled a list of essential programs and utilities to be installed when you completely reinstall your computer. Although some are not universally relevant and although I would recommend/use some other tools for particular tasks (e.g. Sharpreader instead of Feeddemon) most are really good picks worth trying out if you don’t use them already. This list complements the list of essential tools in various categories Scott published already: Scott Hanselman's 2005 Ultimate Developer and Power Users Tool List. There I found some gems that were completely new to me. Recommended!
