A new version of TFS MSSCCI provider is available

A month and a half after the first beta, the second beta of the TFS MSSCCI provider is available, extending support from just VS6 to VS 2003 and earlier. It purposely doesn’t support VS 2005 since the Team Explorer should be used there.

For it to work, you will need to disable strong name validation for the beta 2 assemblies, as described here.

A few words of caution by Brian Harry:
“It is important to remember that this MSSCCI provider is an "unsupported" add-on.  It is not shipping "with" TFS and is not an official part of the product.  We are making it available for those who get value from it.  We will continue to fix bugs and release updates on a fairly regular basis.  If you find issues, please let us know by posting on the TFS forum or filing a bug through the MSDN Product Feedback Center.  Please don't call customer support as they will not be able to help you.”
